What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed; who is selling, and where a complaint or a dispute can go. Last updated 3 October 2026.

What we collect
If you leave your email on the front page
- The email address you enter.
- The date you entered it.
- The IP address the request came from, held as a defence against automated submissions.
If you ask for an invoice
- The payment ID from your statement, and the date and the machine of the purchase.
- The name the invoice is made out to, the billing address, and the NIF or VAT number if you give one. A company invoice must carry one.
- The email address the invoice should go to, and anything you add in the notes.
The IP address you send it from is used at that moment to limit repeated submissions, and is not stored with the request.
If you write to us through Support
- Your name and email address, what the message is about, and the message.
- The payment ID from your statement and a photo, if you send them; the location and camera details a phone stores in a photo are removed on arrival.
- For a damaged pair or a payment problem, we also keep the machine and, if you give it, the date of the purchase; for a damaged pair a photo is required.
- What we did about it.
As with an invoice request, the IP address you send it from is used at that moment to limit repeated submissions, and is not stored with the message.
If you write to us
- Your address and whatever you put in the message, for as long as the conversation needs.
Whether you do any of that or not, the front page is counted
- That the page was viewed, and on what day.
- A one-way fingerprint of your IP address and browser, mixed with the date, so the same person is counted once a day and cannot be recognised tomorrow or anywhere else.
- The country and region your IP address resolves to, and whether you are on a phone.
The counting is done by Snip.work, who build and run this site for us. It sets no cookie and never stores your IP address: the fingerprints are deleted after three days, leaving only totals per day. We use it to know whether anyone is finding us.
Why, and on what basis
- Your email: to write to you about KÜLKID: new pairs, new machines, and nothing else. The basis is your consent, which you withdraw by asking to be removed; every message says how.
- An invoice request: to issue the invoice you are entitled to for a purchase, and to keep the records Portuguese tax law requires of every invoice. The basis is that legal obligation, and the sale itself.
- A support message: to answer you. For a damaged pair or a payment problem, also to look into what happened and put it right; the basis there is the sale itself and, for a damaged pair, our obligations under the three-year legal guarantee. For anything else, it is our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us.
- The counting: to know whether the site is being read. The basis is our legitimate interest in running it; it sets no cookie and cannot identify you, which is why it runs without asking.
- The IP address on a form: to stop automated submissions. The basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the forms usable.
Who else sees it
- Cloudflare host this site and hold what the forms collect, on our behalf and for no other purpose. As the host, they handle every request and keep the short-lived logs any host keeps to run and protect a service.
- Snip.work do the counting described above, on servers in the European Union.
- Resend carry the site's email: an invoice request or a support message, with any photo, to our mailbox, so that we see it, and our news to your address.
- The Portuguese tax authority receives the details of every invoice we issue, as the law requires.
Nobody else. Your address is not sold and it is not passed to anyone for marketing. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under the safeguards the GDPR requires.
What this site does not do
- It sets no cookies.
- It does not follow you. The counting above cannot tell who you are, cannot recognise you tomorrow, and cannot see you on any other site.
- It loads nothing from an advertiser, and there are no tracking pixels.
- It builds no profile of you, and makes no decision about you by machine.
How long
- Your email: until you ask to be removed.
- An invoice request, and the invoice it leads to: ten years, the period Portuguese tax law requires invoicing records to be kept.
- A support message, and any photo: three years from the day you send it, the time within which either of us might still need it, then deleted.
- The counting: fingerprints for three days; the daily totals, which name nobody, indefinitely.
- The counter that limits repeated submissions: one line per form and IP address, holding a count and a time and nothing else.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of what we hold about you.
- Correct anything wrong.
- Delete it. For invoicing records, only once the legal period above has run.
- Restrict or object to how we use it.
- Send it to you, or to another provider, in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, which for your email address means being removed from the list.
Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the CNPD, or to the authority where you live.
Children
This site is not meant for children. If you are under 13, do not leave your address; if a child has, tell us and it will be removed.
Security
Everything between you and this site travels over HTTPS. What the forms collect is held on our infrastructure at Cloudflare, and only the people who run KÜLKID can read it.
Changes
When something changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
Complaints book
If something went wrong and writing to us did not settle it, the formal channel is the electronic complaints book, the Livro de Reclamações. A complaint made there reaches us and the supervising authority, and we answer it within fifteen working days, as the law sets.
Livro de ReclamaçõesDisputes
In a consumer dispute you can turn to an alternative dispute resolution body instead of a court. For a purchase made in Lisboa that is the Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa; where no regional centre applies, the Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo. The full list of bodies is kept by the consumer directorate at consumidor.gov.pt.
This policy covers kulkid.me and the addresses that forward to it. For the terms of sale and returns of a pair bought from a machine, write to [email protected].
